Hi, I’m Katie. I live in Clarion County, PA, and have been working with small businesses for over 20 years. My background is wide-ranging—I’ve farmed, worked in local food systems, owned and managed Airbnbs, and built experience in bookkeeping, marketing, sales and environmental education.

I’m a graduate of Edinboro University (my hometown) and Slippery Rock University, where I earned a Master’s degree in the Sustainable Systems program. The principles I learned there—resiliency, efficiency, diversity, and finding your niche—continue to shape how I approach business. I believe that when we apply the lessons of resilient ecosystems to our work, we set ourselves up for long-term, sustainable success.

Friends and family often tell me I have a knack for bringing order to chaos. I love taking piles of “who knows what,” sorting through them, and highlighting what’s working, what’s not, and what’s worth keeping. Numbers, in particular, provide clarity—they tell the story, guide decisions, and help chart a clear path forward.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me with my dog Sunny, walking the dirt roads, game lands, and parks of this beautiful area I’m lucky to call home. I’m grateful for my family and friends, new and old, and also enjoy gardening, embroidery, and playing a little music here and there.
